What flour to use for pancakes? Refined flours work well but provide only little nutrition. 🔸 NEW WORKSHOP - RESTORATIVE DECOMPRESSION 🔸 March 8th. Come join in and detox your mind and body! - In this 90 minute session practitioners will be guided through a series of restorative yoga postures with cups in various places on the shoulders and back. With the addition of breath work and physical adjustments the benefits of the cups will be amplified. Expect a blend of continuous movement with longer static holds to achieve a deep release of tension. - Receive a physical, spiritual, and mental cleanse as you move through postures with the guidance of a yoga teacher and supervision of a licensed practitioner. - Cupping therapy is a form of alternative medicine that has been used since ancient times. Cupping causes vasodilation, which means that blood vessels grow in width. This is complemented with heat and breath work, which allows for increased blood flow, oxygen and nutrients to the target area. During this therapy, a therapist puts special cups on your skin for 3-5 minutes to create a suction that promotes circulation of the blood and lymph. In order to best treat the muscles and fascia in the body, it is important to take these structures through lengthened positions while therapy is performed. Restorative postures allow positions of maximal elongation of specific musculature, enabling the practitioner to target these muscle groups properly.
